4 Months and going strong

Well I ment to post this earlier but I was having problems with the internet and getting this page to load up. It's been just over 4 months since I left to come out to Iraq. Time has gone by slow and fast it's weird like that. But I am looking forward to coming home in two months. It seems so close now. I want to thank everyone that has sent me e-mails or packages. It really helps knowing that people are back home supporting us.

Well as you can tell we are still working just as hard as we did when we first got out here. But our Iraq hot tub does feel nice on those hot days. It is nice to be buddies with the water doggs. If you didn't know we share our room(bunker) with the water guys. I'm tring to think of something to talk about but I'm coming up blank.

Toby Keith

Hello everybody sorry that it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I was haveing some technical problems with my computer but I got fixed with some help from my mother. Well a couple of weeks back I was lucky enough to be able to go down to one of th bigger bases and see Toby Keith. For those of you that don't know he is a country music singer. The concert was great he played 6 songs. He sang "I should have been a cowboy", "I love this bar", "Taliban man", "As good as I Once was", "American Solider", "Courtisy of the Red, White, Blue". The last two songs were the best. I saw several tears on most marines around me. At the end of the concert he took Pictures wtih all the companies that came. And we gave him a gift from us so he could remember his trip out to visit us. The base is located near some railroad tracks and stuff, so they cut a chunk of a railcar off and framed it. The rail car had been turned to swiss cheese from a 50 cal. heavy machine gun. Toby Keith loved it and sad he was going to hang it in one of his bars. That is all for now I will probably post a new blog soon.
